Travelin.Ai Wins GBTA APAC 2026 Startup Award in Singapore
The future of business travel is no longer about simply booking flights and hotels. It’s about creating a seamless experience that reflects how people actually live, work, and travel today.
That vision was recognized on the global stage when Travelin.Ai won the “Pioneering the Future of Business Travel Venture Connect Award” during the GBTA APAC Conference 2026 in Singapore. The award was presented at the inaugural GBTA VentureConnect competition, where emerging travel technology companies pitched their innovations live in front of buyers, investors, and corporate travel leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region.
Held at the iconic Marina Bay Sands, the conference gathered nearly 1,000 attendees from more than 30 countries, all focused on shaping the next generation of corporate travel.

Standing Out in a Crowded AI Landscape
Artificial intelligence dominated conversations throughout GBTA APAC 2026. Industry leaders discussed how AI is reshaping traveler servicing, automation, booking experiences, and policy management.
During the live pitch competition, founder Roy Golden focused on measurable business outcomes and real operational challenges facing travel management companies and corporate travelers today. According to feedback from the judges, that clarity and practical focus became one of the key reasons Travelin.Ai stood out from the competition.
The judging panel included executives and travel buyers from global organizations including ABB, Accenture, Bloomberg, and the Asian Development Bank.
Reimagining Business Travel for Modern Travelers
Corporate travel has changed dramatically in recent years. Travelers expect consumer-grade booking experiences, while companies require tighter control, policy compliance, expense visibility, and duty of care. Travelin.Ai was built to bridge that gap. The platform seamlessly combines business, leisure, and blended travel with essential enterprise and payment tools into one unified experience designed specifically for travel management companies and enterprise travel programs.
One of the platform’s standout innovations is its split-payment technology, allowing travelers to combine business and leisure travel within a single booking flow while automatically separating personal and company expenses for flights and hotels.
Beyond that, the platform focuses on three major outcomes:
Our vision is to create an experience which will truly reflect how people live and work and travel.

Expanding Into Asia-Pacific
The award also marks an important milestone in Travelin. Ai’s global growth journey.
At the same time as the GBTA conference, the company announced its expansion into the Asia-Pacific market through its first Singapore-based customer — a travel management company serving industries including oil & gas and maritime sectors. The new deployment is expected to launch later this year.
The momentum follows a growing wave of international recognition for the Norwegian travel technology company. Prior to the GBTA APAC win, Travelin.Ai had already been recognized among the world’s top travel innovators and selected by Sabre Corporation for global launch collaboration opportunities.
What This Means for the Future of Business Travel
The business travel industry is entering a new era.
Traditional booking tools built around rigid workflows and disconnected systems are struggling to meet modern expectations. Travelers want simplicity. Companies want visibility and control. Travel management companies need faster implementations and lower servicing costs.
That is exactly where AI-native platforms like Travelin.Ai are beginning to redefine the category. The conversations at GBTA APAC 2026 made one thing clear: the future of corporate travel will be automated, personalized, and deeply integrated into how people already work.
Winning the GBTA VentureConnect Award is more than industry recognition for Travelin.Ai. It signals a broader shift happening across global business travel — one where intelligent technology is no longer a “nice to have,” but a core part of delivering better travel experiences at scale.
